this weekend i rented gears of war for my 360 and it is a very great. It is a third-person shooter, with a screen directly in back of your character. The levels look very well thaught-through. they give you alot of place to cover. the cover feature is very well put in to it. you can move from wall to wall just by simply pressing RT and left or right. also there is a feature were you hold A botton to run ducked down for a period of time. The Lotusts (enimies) have advanced AI and is quite a hard game. there is only 3 bosses, but are very cool. you have 4 weapons. 2 of four you can swap with other weapons. the two you cant is a pistol, and grenades. you also have this 'blind shooting' concept were you can duck in cover and shoot blindly of throw grenades. you also have a team of three other people helping you, and they too have AI. there is a co-op mode on campaign, but i never had a chance to try that.
The score + Lots of place to cover + Lotusts have advanced AI including your team. + a cool aiming system that helps you fire wile in cover + you have your team helping you - you cant hold many weapons - not many bosses - not a thriller/horror game in other words not scary
overall score= 9.5 out of 10
i recomend this game to everyone! -

yeah man also the online is probably the best part of this game, i think thats all they made this game for is the online play (since the story is sooo long) why do you think they have a pc version with more maps and weapons
